Louise Trueman is the founder of Trueman Bailey LAW having founded the business in 2025 after years in the legal industry. Having been head of conveyancing, the senior team member and Director of a firm before, Louise understood the assignment. Using her expertise of traditional style law firms, and recognising the issues they face both with compliance, client management and other issues internally to procedure, as well as extensive mental health concerns across the board - Louise founded the business with a purpose. To construct a business which works for all. Somewhere clients would feel respected, heard and valued. Less bogged down by extensive conveyancing delays, more accepted and understood as it relates to the issues within the industry for conveyancing. Acknowledging both the concerns of the business and the conveyancing sector allowed for Louise to solve the problem.

A safer and fairer working environment for all. Understanding the key concepts of what weighs down traditional firms allows Louise and her team to organise efficient transactions and smoother sailing matters. We know the concerns of clients and lawyers, and we have made the difference within our best. We don’t just say we will do something, we do it and have done it.

We are pleased to welcome consultants onto the platform as a result of extensive work by Louise both in the previous firms, and her experience within the legal industry, whilst also navigating home life, changing circumstances, and issues in the conveyancing world. She has structed a business round her, with experience directly working as a consultant, this business simply extends the offer to other, like minded, and similar lawyers.

Those with onus for change, onus for a lifestyle most day to day lawyers cannot have - including caring for family when they need it, taking holidays to suit clients, and other business matters, putting client focus at the centre of everything we do whilst also having a life of our own. Louise understood that there didn’t need to be a compromise, we didn’t need to undervalue ourselves as lawyers to get the job done, or ignore the needs of ourselves, to be able to be efficient - to the contrary - the more we listen to ourselves as lawyers, the more we excel at our careers and the better we treat and we can respond to issues.

We reflect high standards, because we expect high standards, we want to work with the best, and we do. We take time to get to know all our lawyers before they come onboard, we understand who they are, and how we operate, we are not prepared to have issues with clients who feel we have not done our job. We choose excellence, every time, and we remain committed to this.

Louise has a long history of excellent client care and this is the focus of the business - we care how you feel - what you need - what you expect - and we get the job done, most importantly. We respect the need for communication, coherence, honesty and transparency and we give it, even when it might not be what you want to hear. We believe this is paramount to being a human, running a business, and caring about everyone involved above all.

Ensuring a high standard of service to all of our consultants, ensuring the smooth transition of new consultants, and managing the day to day of the business are Jodi’s key roles. She helps to keep the team organised and ensuring the day-to-day running of the business stays seamless. As part of our family business, her commitment, enthusiasm and growing expertise make her a valued member of the team.
